Transition to Mass Production

Howard Clements Norton managed the Company’s critical transition in 1939 from its earlier product lines to the mass production of industrial steel pails. This single decision stabilized the future developments of the Company. Norton Packaging, Inc.’s experience and longevity have placed the Company at the head of its industry. Over time, the natural extension from steel containers to plastic containers has created a family of products that suit a variety of packaging needs.
