Privacy Policy
Last updated: [October 21, 2026]
Norton Packaging, Inc. (“Norton Packaging,” “we,” “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through nortonpackaging.com, why we collect it, the categories of sources from which it is collected, the categories of recipients to whom it is disclosed, how long we retain it, and the privacy rights available to California residents and other visitors.
This policy primarily describes personal information collected through nortonpackaging.com. Norton Packaging is a business subject to the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (collectively, the CCPA). CCPA rights described below apply to personal information covered by the CCPA, including where applicable information Norton Packaging maintains outside the website. Separate business records, such as purchase orders, invoices and customer account records, may be governed by additional business practices and legal retention requirements.
Notice at Collection for Website Visitors
At or before the point where we collect personal information through our website, we provide notice of the categories of personal information collected and the purposes for which they are used. Through the contact form, we collect identifiers and contact information you provide, such as your name, email address, company name, phone number, state and ZIP code, together with the content of your message. We use this information to respond to your inquiry and follow up regarding the products or services you asked about.
We also collect internet or other electronic network activity information needed to operate and secure the website, such as IP address, browser information and pages requested. We use this information for website security, availability, fraud and abuse prevention, and basic operation. We do not sell or share these categories of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. See the sections below for retention, service-provider disclosures and your California privacy rights.
How contact form submissions are handled
When you submit the contact form, the message is sent by email to our team at info@nortonpackaging.com. Submissions are not stored in the website’s database. The website itself keeps no record of your inquiry. The email lands in our business inbox and is retained there as ordinary business correspondence.
We keep inquiry emails for up to 24 months from your last contact with us, after which they are deleted, unless the inquiry becomes part of an ongoing business relationship or we are required to keep it longer for legal or accounting reasons. If you would like your inquiry deleted sooner, contact us and we will evaluate the request in accordance with applicable law.
We use the information you send to respond to your inquiry and to follow up about the products or services you asked about. We do not add you to a marketing list without your agreement, and we do not send newsletters or promotional email from this form.
Who your information is shared with
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it for advertising or cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not trade or rent it.
Your information is handled by a small number of service providers who help us operate the website and our email. They act on our instructions and are not permitted to use your information for their own purposes.
Cloudflare provides security and anti-spam protection for the site and the contact form. When you use the form, Cloudflare’s Turnstile check receives technical signals including your IP address in order to confirm you are not a bot. Cloudflare states it cannot directly identify individuals from these signals. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy and its Turnstile privacy information.
WP Engine hosts the website. As our host, it processes traffic to the site and maintains server logs.
Adobe delivers the site’s web fonts through Adobe Fonts. This means Adobe receives basic technical data such as your IP address when fonts load. See Adobe’s privacy information for Adobe Fonts.
Microsoft provides our business email through Microsoft 365. The inquiry emails our contact form generates are delivered to and stored in our Microsoft-hosted mailbox. See Microsoft’s privacy statement.
We may also disclose information where we are legally required to do so, or where it is necessary to protect our rights, property, or safety, or those of others.
Your rights in California
California residents have rights under the CCPA, subject to applicable exceptions. These include the right to know the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you; the categories of sources from which it was collected; the business or commercial purposes for collecting, selling or sharing it; and the categories of third parties to whom it was disclosed. You may also request access to the specific personal information we maintain about you, correction of inaccurate personal information, and deletion of personal information we collected from you. You have the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising your CCPA rights.
California law also provides the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and, in certain circumstances, to limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information. Norton Packaging does not sell personal information, does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and does not use or disclose sensitive personal information through this website for purposes that require a right-to-limit notice. For those reasons, we do not currently provide a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” or “Limit the Use of My Sensitive Personal Information” link. If our practices change, we will update this policy and provide the required choices.
To submit a CCPA request to know, access, delete or correct personal information, you may (1) submit a request through the contact form on nortonpackaging.com and state “Privacy Request” in your message, or (2) call our privacy request number at (510) 786-1922. We may verify your request by asking for information reasonably necessary to match the request to information we maintain. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf, subject to verification of the agent’s authority and, where permitted by law, your identity. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.
Your rights in the EU and UK
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, the General Data Protection Regulation gives you the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have inaccurate data corrected, to have your data erased, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive your data in a portable form. You may also lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.
Our legal basis for handling the information you send through the contact form is our legitimate interest in responding to inquiries about our business, and, where you are asking us about a possible order, taking steps at your request before entering a contract. Our legal basis for the security processing described above is our legitimate interest in protecting the website against abuse.
Norton Packaging is based in the United States, so information you send us is processed in the United States. Some of our service providers operate globally and may process data in other countries.
To exercise any of these rights, email info@nortonpackaging.com.
Children
This website is intended for business customers and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect the information handled through this site. The site is served over an encrypted connection, and the contact form is protected against automated abuse. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
We will update this policy when the website changes in ways that affect it, such as adding analytics, e-commerce, or new third-party services. The date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
